Water Rates and Fees (as of 7/1/2008)

Includes rates and fees for a typical account holder and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all District rates and fees.

Rates:

Base water rate (for a standard (5/8") meter	$47.20/two months
Water usage rate per unit (1 unit equals 748 gallons)	1st thru 5th unit: $1.10 6th thru 15th unit: $2.20 16th thru 30th unit: $2.30 31st unit and greater: $2.40

Fees:

New account set-up fee	$20
Multiple units (more than one living unit)	$25 per unit/two months
Late fee (assessed 25 days after billing date if payment is not received)	Greater of $5 or 5% of the bill
Credit Card transactions	$2
Turn-Off Notice for nonpayment	$25
Reconnect after turn-off for non payment	$50
Returned check fee	$30
Tampering with water meter/Unauthorized water use	$150
Customer service fee (assessed when customer calls out District personnel for a problem that is not the District's responsibility)	$50 $70 after hours
Same-day turn-on (assessed when a new customer requests water to be connected the same day.	$50 $70 after 3 p.m.

Deposits:

Collections deposit Required to open an account when customer has previously been sent to collections or failed to pay on account, and/or fails to provide requested account set-up information. Collections deposit is help for the duration of the service and refundable with interest upon closure of the account.	$150
Delinquent deposit Required for customers who do not pay on time. Refundable with interest after one year of good payment history.	$150 after two consecutive Turn-Off Notices
